Rudy Giuliani will be on CNBC's Kudlow Report tonight. He's considering another run for the Republican nomination for President. Here's an excerpt, received by e-mail from CNBC:

LARRY KUDLOW: " Will you take a look at 2012, there are lots of rumors in New York City?"
RUDY GIULIANI: "I will take a look at 2012. It's really a question of, can I play a useful role? Would I have a chance of getting the nomination? Those are things that I'll have to evaluate as the year goes along.

LARRY KUDLOW: "But the door is open, that's what I'm hearing from you tonight?"
RUDY GIULIANI: "Yes, yes, Absolutely Larry."

He never could stand to be out of the limelight for long. Is this just a way for him to rev up demand (and fees) as a motivational speaker? [More...]

Business has reportedly been slow for him lately. While thankfully, Rudy Giuliani has become largely irrelevant and forgotten, it looks like we may be subjected to his opinions again -- at least until someone knocks some sense into him that his time has come and gone. Memo to Rudy: That door you think is open? It's just gonna hit you on the way out.

have quite a lineup. My take is that of yours: realization that out-of-sight is out-of-mind. And, that is not good for business.

Even Palin is better than Giuliani, but both are calamities ... anyway, I suppose he's just drumming up some business ...

Republican land. Their 2016 candidates will beat the hell out of us but the current crop is a huge group of losers.

The only one who can act unhateful for any length of time is Romney.

that his bid would be probably more about getting flown around in private jets than it is about actually getting a nomination.
