Rudy on the Prowl: Women First, Joe Biden Next

While third wife Judith insists Ruy is a "cheating liar" due to his relationship with Maria Ryan, which Rudy denies existed or occurred after their separation, Rudy is not deterred. In fact, Maria Ryan is so last week.

This week Rudy is pursuing yet another romance, with Jennifer LeBlanc, a Louisiana Republican fundraiser and former financial chair of Rudy's 2008 campaign. She is a widow, her husband died in a plane crash. At the time of her death, she and her husband were under criminal investigation. Neither were charged.

LeBlanc was the Louisiana finance chair for Giuliani's 2008 presidential campaign. She is a partner at LeBlanc & Associates, where she and her partner provide fundraising and consulting advice to clients in the state as well as to some prominent Louisiana officeholders in D.C.

...LeBlanc inherited substantial business assets after the death of her husband, Pat LeBlanc, a Lafayette, Louisiana businessman. He died in a plane crash at 53 while under investigation for an alleged bribery scandal for a Leblanc company that provided concessions services to Texas prisons. They proclaimed their innocence and were never charged. (my emphasis)

Rudy, who I would bet hasn't seen the inside of a state court in decades, last month entered his appearance in an auto insurance fraud case in Ft. Lauderdale where the defendant is Maria Ryan's daughter, who he said is his personal assistant.[More...]

Vanessa has been working for me as an assistant for several months and she's terrific,' Giuliani said. 'I've also known her whole family. Her mother is a doctor I've known for years and her dad was a great Marine. This is the least I can do.

In related news, Rudy attacked Joe Biden today as "a mentally deficient idiot" and when asked to explain, said Biden is dumb, saying he came in last in his law school class. The interviewer says it was second to last. Rudy responds that since that guy died, Biden is now last.

Rudy Giuliani is in need of a muzzle. He was always full of himself, but now he's just a caricature.

How desperate is Jennifer LeBlanc... (none / 0) (#1)

The Orange. He is such a buffoon, such a transparent liar and publicity wh0re no serious person is going to be swayed by anything he says.

I suppose he helps in the sense he gives Trumps idiot supporters amoral support but he us not changing a single mind.

And I suppose that's his job.

I just think it's a questionable strategy.  I read every where Rudys theory is since "DOJ guidelines" say Muller can't indict Trump all they have to do is keep the 35% rabidly on board for the "political" fight.

I believe the flaw in that plan is the word "guideline".  As in it's not a rule, it's a guideline.

Mueller will indict Trump.  I would guess it won't come soon.  Probably after the midterms.

I think the report on obstruction will come before.  The rest later.

certainly is not helping. Just anecdotal but even the Trumpers don't seem to believe what he is saying simply because he says something and then has to retract it the next day.

indict Trump as soon as he has the case he determines he needs.  Not sure how the mid-term election guideline should apply, since Trump is not on the ballot.  But, after the IG report, you are  right, the DOJ/Mueller will be careful not to pull a Comey.  And, also, since Hillary is not on the ballot, rules need to be strictly adhered to.

    ... even when they're not.

Today, Josh Marshall recounted a telling passage from the DOJ IG Report, in which certain employees from a certain field office told a certain agency's general counsel, "You guys are finally going to get that b*tch." Seriously, they actually said it.

(Sigh!) Think about that for a moment, as well as the fact that Trump confidantes Roger Stone and Michael Caputo have both belatedly admitted that yes, they also met with Russians during the 2016 campaign -- which now raises to 14 the number of senior Trump caporegimes who have documented Russian connections.

And then, consider that it's Special Agent Peer Strzok who was reportedly escorted out of the FBI Building last Friday afternoon, and it's former Deputy Atty. Gen. Andrew McCabe and former MI6 operative Christopher Steele who've been singled out by Republicans for criminal referrals.

Dieses Scheiße wird immer Real, meinen lieben Freunde. Helfen Sie uns, Herr Müller. Sie sind unsere einzige Hoffnung.

    Auf Wiedersehen.

require them actually quitting what they have been doing for years now which is let someone on TV to sit there and spew lies. I'm not hopeful they are going to change any of that anytime soon.
