The cold open from last night's Saturday Night Live. Tina Fey, as usual, nails Sarah Palin. She mostly uses Palin's own words.

Late Night: SNL with Sarah Palin

Saturday Night Live will have not only Tina Fey playing Sarah Palin, but Sarah Palin herself.

We'll post video when it's available. I'll update with my thoughts after the segment airs here.

If you're in an earlier time zone and have seen it, feel free to weigh in.

Update: Huffpo has video here. Reuters recap here, AP wrapup here.

Update: My take: The opening was ho-hum, the Weekend Update segment with Amy Poehler's rap was great. I highly recommend watching Amy in that segment. All Palin did was sit there and play the good sport, which was fine by me. The sidelines is where she belongs.

SNL Opens With Hillary Skit

What did you think? Actors playing Hillary and Bill discuss their tax returns and making money and whether Hillary will step aside.

"So, at this point I think it would be in the best interest of the party if I stepped aside for the Obama campaign. That's not going to happen. I am not jumping out of this until after the inauguration. Even then I won't be gracious."

It wasn't particularly funny or memorable. Host Christopher Walken's opening was much better and funnier, although it had nothing to do with politics. He is such a good actor.

Hillary on Saturday Night Live Tonight

It looks like Hillary Clinton will be on Saturday Night Live tonight. Check back later for the You Tubes.

Hillary Clinton may make an unexpected visit on Saturday Night Live. According to CNN, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton may make a surprise appearance on this week’s Saturday Night Live, right before Tuesday’s crucial primaries.

A Saturday Night Live spokesman would not comment on the situation and only said, "It's a live show; anything can happen."

However, Clinton did not arrive for her scheduled flight from Dallas, Texas to Columbus, Ohio on Saturday evening and campaign officials would not disclose the Senator’s location, according to CNN.
